I received a phone call this morning from a wonderful lady informing me that they are making a donation towards our purchase of a Boaz home in the amount of $1000.00. It is such a blessing!
Our total towards our home is now (insert drumroll here) $2032.00. I am believing the Lord for $100,000 so we can purchase the home we are considering. I have seen God moving in some mighty ways this week, between His provision and the people He has put in my path.
We had a wonderful youth service at the church last night as 16 teens were in attendance. I felt empowered by the Lord to really preach His Word. I always feel anointed to do it but last night I was truly empowered. I feel like God is really laying on my heart some specific areas I need to teach on when it comes to teen issues.
One of the great blessings at youth last night was to have the young girl that I met on Tuesday that was panhandling in attendance. She came along with some friends and I feel like she really connected with us and us with her. Pray for her as she has some very tough legal battles she is facing over the next couple of months. She is a really sweet girl that has made some mistakes of judgement.
I am feeling so overwhelmed with God's goodness, and I can clearly see His hand at work. Keep praying brothers and sisters it is making a difference. AMEN!!!
