Follow up with "Romey"

Barbara, "Romey"

I just got back from being out on the streets of Vancouver and it was a great experience once again. One of the reasons it was amazing is because I saw "Romey" for the second time.

Today when I saw her she looked at me and said, "your Pastor Scott Wood". I was surprised that she remembered me, but she did. I told her that I remembered her name as well and she had a big smile on her face.

She went on to tell me that she talked to her mother since we last talked and that her mother was excited that she was meeting so many Christians. My guess is that it was an answer to prayer for her mom and I am glad to be a part of it.

I could see a different look in her eyes today. She seemed to be so more hopeful. My prayer for her is that she will find her way into a relationship with the Lord, that she will choose to reach out to Him in her time of need and in her time of praise.

I would say that Barbara Janet is making progress.
