I have driven to Miramichi a number of times over the past year. Every time except for one I have had to drive home saddened. The one time I wasn't sad is when I was there to take Jerry to SoulFest last summer. This weekend though I am so excited to be heading north.
This time I get to drive Jerry back to the place where I knew he needed to be. A place where he is going to be treated with respect and feel the genuine love of a family. He knows that too. He is going to experience what all people want to experience the love and acceptance of a family.
I am so thankful that God has provided this miracle. I know Jerry is rejoicing and that is why he has a joy in his voice, and I bet a skip in his step.
